Yumthang-valley (also known as the Valley of Flowers) is the Yaks’ summer grazing place and Yetis’ winter playground. On the way back, stop at a hot spring known for its curative powers. After breakfast (8.00 a.m.), transfer to Gangtok Enroute and admire the beauty of the magnificent Bheema and Twin Falls. Upon arriving in Gangtok, check into your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

After an early breakfast, take a half-day local sightseeing tour of Gangtok that includes the Rumtek Monastery, Flower Show, Botanical Garden, Dro-Dul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, Flower Show, and Handicraft Center. After lunch, drive to Darjeeling, one of the world’s most spectacular hill resorts. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Overnight at.

Visit Tiger Hill early in the morning at 0400 a.m. to see the stunning sunrise above Mt. Khangchendzonga (the world’s third highest peak), then return via Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast, visit the Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays), Tea Garden (outside view), and Japanese Temple. Evening free for shopping.
